PADDLEPOWER PASSPORT and PADDLESPORT DISCOVER are exciting new youth centred schemes which introduces young people to paddlesport. As well as focusing on skills and understanding there is a strong emphasis on participation and paddlers are encourage to experience the many aspects of paddlesport available, both competitive and adventurous, across a range of disciplines.
PASSPORT is equivalent to the old 1 star award and DISCOVERY to the 2 star award. At every stage the Instructor will sign off your Progress Card; when it is completed you'll be sent your Award Certificate.
After completing the Passport you'll be eligible for Canoe and Kayak Club on Saturday mornings which is a great opportunity to practice your new skills, play some games and to enjoy your canoeing and kayaking in the wide range of boats that we have at Mepal.
PADDLEPOWER PASSPORT courses will also be held on Sundays from 9.30am - 4.30pm.
