Canoe Safety test
The Canoe Safety Test is replaced (as from 1st April 2008) by the BCU Foundation Safety and Rescue Training Course which we will be running from 1st April. It is the essential Rescue award which may be taken in any kayak or canoealthough participants will be trained in working with all types of canoe and kayak.. You must be a confident 2* paddler to undertake the course which will cover a variety of canoe and kayak rescues as well as basic water safety. The Course is a pre-requisite for BCU coaching scheme.
