This is the 'new' Level 2 award; the starting point for the exciting new BCU coaching scheme.  A course will be organised during 2008. Please email to indicate your interest.  
Registration for the Course has to be done centrally with the British Canoe Union.  Follow this link  to download the CR registration form, complete it and register with the BCU and then book the course online below.  
The full cost of the four day course will be £180 with an additional registration fee payable to the BCU on registration.   
As a Level 2 coach you will be trained and assessed to plan, deliver and review short coaching sessions on flat water and to train and assess for the new 1*  and 2* awards in any type of canoe or kayak. To register for the Course you must be 16 or over, a BCU member and hold a current first aid certificate.  To be assessed as a boat based coach you must hold the  Canoe Safety test and 3* award. in one discipline and a 3* in the alternative craft.
