VACANCIES AT MEPAL -STAFF INSTRUCTOR
STAFF INSTRUCTOR. We have a number of vacancies for Instructors in 2009 starting im March 2009. Staff Instructors should hold two or more relevant NGB qualifications, e.g. L1 Canoesport, Dinghy Instructor, Single pitch award, BMC climbing wall Supervisor, GNAS, Fencing Supervisor, NSRA or Trampoline.
LEAD INSTRUCTOR. We are looking to recruit a more eperienced Lead Instructor holding one or more of L3 BCU (canoe or Kayak)Single Pitch award, Dinghy Instructor, etc.
SUMMER INSTRUCTOR.(Late May - end August) Ideally with substantial experience of at least one of our main activities.
TRAINEE INSTRUCTOR.(March) Aged 17+ and wanting to get a foothold in the inductry and committed to gain some relevant qualifications through the year.

DIRECTIONS TO MEPAL
The Centre is situated on the West side of the A141 (Ely - March road), between Sutton and Chatteris. So, if you are coming from Cambridge, take the A10 to Stretham, left at the roundabout towards Chatteris. Pass through Wilburton and then turn right at the cross roads in Haddenham and continue to Witcham Toll - junction with the A141 - turn left and then at the Sutton roundabout take the second exit. Keep going past Mepal village and in about 2 miles you'll see the Centre - a huge tent! - on your left hand side.
Coming from the North, head to Chatteris, take the bypass towards Ely and we about 2 miles on your right hand side.
NEW IN THE PLAYPARK!
THE SCRAMBLEZONE IS READY! Now it doesn't matter if it rains at Mepal because our new under cover ScrambleZone climbing area is open and running. The ScrambleZone is included in the £3.00 admission charge for 5-11s; 12s and over who want to use the ScrambleZone must purchase an armband at reception (only £1.00) Fantastic Value for a whole day out!
INDOOR CAFE - NOW OPEN
Our indoor cafe is now open 7 days a week from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
Stacey will be pleased to serve you a selection of hot and cold snacks, homemade meals,desserts and various refreshments.
Come in and relax in the warm and friendly environment.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE
Cancellation Insurance is available through ‘Travel and General’ Insurance company to cover you if you need to cancel your course at Mepal due to illness, etc. You can access this by following this link which you will have to cut and paste into your browser.

PARENT(s) & CHILD(ren) WEEKENDS!
On August Bank holiday weekends we are offering residential activities for parents and children (aged 8+) together. This weekend is intended for single parents rather than families. More information on the FAMILY FUN page.
